1. Overview

Rentitem.lk (Private) Limited is a rental equipment and services provider. As our products are rented rather than sold, our refund and returns policy is structured around our rental cancellation terms.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation Fee: All cancellations incur a 10% cancellation fee deducted from the advance payment or total amount paid.
  • 24+ Hours Before Rental: Advance payment (minus 10% fee) will be refunded to the customer’s bank account.
  • Less Than 24 Hours Before Rental: The advance payment is non-refundable.

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
  • Refund requests must be communicated via WhatsApp or email.

4. Equipment Returns

  • All rented equipment must be returned in the same condition as received.
  • Standard Rental Period: 8:00 AM to 11:59 PM on the rental date.
  • Late returns are subject to additional charges per our Terms and Conditions.

5. Damaged or Defective Equipment

If equipment is defective at delivery/pickup, notify us immediately. We will provide a replacement or full refund for the affected item.

6. Non-Refundable Charges

  • Delivery/transport fees once dispatched
  • Operator service fees for services already rendered
