The BC-Q2 is a two-bay charger built for Sony L-series NP-F lithium-ion batteries, including the NP-F550, NP-F570, NP-F750, NP-F770, NP-F950, NP-F960 and NP-F970, plus compatible third-party NP-F packs of the same shape.
It has two independent bays that charge in parallel, so you can replenish a pair of batteries side by side without waiting for one to finish first.
Each bay carries its own charge status indicator, so you can read the progress of both packs at a glance and pull a battery the moment it is ready.
It accepts power from either an AC wall socket (110-240V) or a USB source, which means it can run from mains at base or from a power bank, portable power station or vehicle USB out in the field.
A 5V / 2.1A USB-A port on the side doubles as a phone or accessory charging output for set radios and phones when sockets are scarce.
This is a charger only, so the NP-F batteries themselves are not included unless you add them to your rental.
