A junior-level sound technician with 2–4 years of experience assisting with audio equipment setup, cable runs, and basic troubleshooting. Works under senior engineers or technicians to prepare event audio systems.
The Professional Audio Junior Mix Engineer is actually a junior sound technician role — this person assists with preparing audio systems for events under the direction of senior engineers. Junior sound technicians handle equipment setup, cable runs and management, and basic troubleshooting during load-in and sound check. This is a support role ideal for larger events requiring additional hands during setup and breakdown. While not a mixing engineer, they provide valuable assistance to the lead audio team.
This is our basic tier - trained for standard mic setups, basic mixing, and event sound support. We do not position this operator as a senior professional or industry expert. For serious commercial work please book our senior tier in this role, and for arena tours, festival headline acts, or world-class studio mastering please engage an independent industry specialist directly.
