About this operator

The Professional Senior Stage Lighting Operator designs and operates lighting for live events and productions. Senior lighting operators program DMX lighting consoles, control moving heads, wash lights, spotlights, and LED fixtures to create atmospheric lighting designs that enhance the event experience. The operator collaborates with event organizers and performers to understand lighting requirements and creates lighting states and cues for different segments of the event. During the event, they operate the lighting console, executing pre-programmed cues and making real-time adjustments to match the mood and atmosphere.
