Question 1

How much does it cost to rent the Home Karaoke Package?

Accepted Answer

The published rate is Rs 7,500 per day in Sri Lanka. Multi-day discounts may apply on longer bookings, and final pricing is confirmed when you book. Delivery, setup and operator are optional extras and not part of the daily rate.

Question 2

What's included when you rent the Home Karaoke Package?

Accepted Answer

You get 01 x TX-800w 12 Inch Active Speaker, 01 x TX Dual Handheld Microphone System (two wireless mics), 01 x AA Rechargeable Battery Pack with charger, 02 x 15-metre 3-socket power extension cords, and 01 x RCA to 3.5mm AUX cable (3 metres). It is rented as one bundle, so you do not have to hire each part separately.

Question 3

Do I need a TV or screen to sing?

Accepted Answer

No screen is included. You play backing tracks or lyrics from your own phone, laptop, tablet or TV and feed the sound to the speaker using the supplied AUX cable, or connect wirelessly if your source supports Bluetooth. If you want lyrics on a big screen, add a TV or projector separately.

Question 4

How do I connect my phone or laptop to the speaker?

Accepted Answer

Use the supplied RCA to 3.5mm AUX cable to connect a headphone or line-out socket to the speaker, or connect over Bluetooth or USB where supported. The two wireless microphones pair with the speaker system so you can sing right away.

Question 5

How loud is it, and how big a space does it cover?

Accepted Answer

The 800W 12-inch active speaker is comfortably loud for a home, a garden gathering or a small hall. For large halls or big outdoor crowds, ask us about a larger PA or event sound package instead.

Question 6

Do the microphones need batteries?

Accepted Answer

The dual handheld system runs on AA batteries, and the package includes an AA Rechargeable Battery Pack with a charger. For events longer than 2 to 3 hours, keep the charger handy or carry spare batteries.

Question 7

How far will the power cords reach?

Accepted Answer

The package includes two custom 15-metre extension cords, each with three sockets, so you have plenty of reach to place the speaker where you want and still power your phone charger or a screen nearby.

Question 8

Is an operator included?

Accepted Answer

An operator is not included by default. The kit is simple plug and play, but if you would like on-site setup or hands-on support, you can add a trained technician through the operator booking section for an extra fee.

Question 9

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Basic setup takes about 15 to 45 minutes: place the speaker, connect power, plug in your audio source and switch on the wireless mics. Our team can guide you over WhatsApp if you have any questions on the day.

Question 10

Do you deliver outside Colombo?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Same-day delivery is available in Colombo and the suburbs. Next-day or scheduled delivery is available island-wide, including Kandy, Galle, Matara, Jaffna, Negombo and Anuradhapura. Delivery charges depend on distance and item size and are not included in the daily rate.

Question 11

Is a deposit required, and what ID do I need?

Accepted Answer

A refundable security deposit is required and is returned after the kit comes back in working order. Sri Lankan customers need a valid NIC and foreign customers need a passport at handover.

Question 12

What is the minimum rental period?

Accepted Answer

The standard minimum rental is one day (24 hours). Daily, weekly and monthly rates apply, with discounts for longer bookings.

Question 13

What happens if something is damaged?

Accepted Answer

Normal wear is expected and not charged. The renter is liable for damage or loss caused by mishandling, and repair or replacement is charged at actual cost from the deposit per our rental agreement.
