The Epson EB-X05 Projector Remote Control is the original handheld infrared remote supplied with the Epson EB-X05 projector, carrying Epson part numbers 2181788 and 218178800.
It is a compact black plastic unit that runs on two AAA batteries, so it is fully cordless and travels easily with the projector.
The remote gives full wireless control of the EB-X05 from across a room or hall, which matters when the projector is placed high, at the back of the room or out of arm's reach.
The handset carries dedicated buttons for power on and off, source select, menu navigation, keystone correction, aspect ratio, freeze and A/V mute.
A presenter can switch the input, open and move through the on-screen menu, square up a tilted image with keystone correction, change the aspect ratio for different content, blank the screen with A/V mute and pause a frame with freeze, all without walking up to the projector body.
Because it uses infrared, it works line-of-sight and needs a clear path to the projector's IR sensor.
