The Shure SLX1 is the belt-worn UHF transmitter from the Shure SLX wireless system.
Clip on a lavalier or headset mic, plug it in, and it sends clean audio wirelessly to the matching Shure SLX receiver so a speaker can move hands-free.
This is a Shure SLX1 UHF wireless bodypack transmitter, the compact belt-worn unit that turns a wired lavalier or headset microphone into a wireless one. It is not a microphone on its own and it does not have a capsule.
Instead, a lavalier, headset or instrument mic plugs into its locking 4-pin mini TA4F input, and the transmitter beams that audio across the UHF band to the matching Shure SLX receiver.
The receiver then feeds your mixer, amplifier or speakers. To make sound, this bodypack always needs two other things: the matching Shure SLX receiver and a lavalier or headset mic terminated with a TA4F connector.

The SLX1 is built for reliable, hands-free speech and performance.
It runs on 2 x AA batteries for up to about 8 hours, so it comfortably covers a full ceremony or conference day, and it carries a 30 dB adjustable gain range with mic, 0 dB and -10 dB input settings to suit quiet lavaliers, headsets or hotter instrument signals.
Setup is simple: hold the transmitter to the receiver's infrared window and it copies the chosen clean channel automatically, with no manual programming.
A backlit LCD shows the channel and battery status, and frequency and power lockout stops a presenter accidentally changing the channel or switching off mid-event.
Line-of-sight range reaches up to about 100 metres, which is ample for stages, halls and hotel ballrooms across Colombo.
