A TX clip-on lavalier microphone module: the small lapel mic that clips to a presenter's collar and plugs into a TX wireless bodypack transmitter for clean, hands-free speech at events.
This is the TX clip-on lavalier microphone module, the small mic element that a speaker wears on the collar or lapel. It is a lav mic capsule, not a complete wireless system on its own.
The capsule clips to clothing and a thin cable runs to a TX wireless bodypack transmitter worn on the belt or in a pocket.
The bodypack sends the audio over the air to a matching TX receiver at the camera, recorder or mixer, so the presenter can move and speak without holding a microphone or trailing a cable across the floor.
It uses an omnidirectional condenser element, which picks up the voice evenly as the head turns and keeps the level steady through a talk, sermon or interview.
Because this is the lav mic element only, it needs a compatible TX bodypack transmitter and a TX receiver to work as a full wireless set.
Rent those together with the module and you have everything a presenter needs to be heard clearly across a room.
It is a natural fit for people who talk for a living: hosts, lecturers, worship leaders, panellists and interviewers who want their hands free and the microphone out of the frame.
The clip-on form keeps the capsule close to the mouth for a consistent, natural voice, and the discreet size means it stays out of the way in photos and on video.
For anything beyond a single speaker, add a module and bodypack for each person.
Clip it on, speak hands-free
