A belt-worn TX UHF wireless bodypack transmitter that lets a presenter or performer speak hands-free. A clip-on lavalier or headset mic plugs into it, and it sends the voice wirelessly to the matching TX receiver.
The TX Wireless Bodypack Transmitter is a belt-worn UHF wireless transmitter from the budget TX audio range widely distributed across the Sri Lankan events market. It is not a standalone microphone.
Instead, a clip-on lavalier or a headset mic plugs into its 3.5mm input, and the pack sends that voice wirelessly over the UHF band to a matching TX receiver.
The transmitter clips to a belt, waistband, or pocket, has a power switch and a status LED, and runs on two AA batteries in a rear compartment.
Because the presenter carries nothing in their hands, it is built for hands-free speaking and moving freely on stage or around a room.
To put audio out into the room, this pack is one link in a chain.
It needs three other pieces to be heard: the matching TX receiver that decodes its UHF channel, a lavalier or headset mic plugged into the transmitter to pick up the voice, and a mixer or PA system that the receiver feeds so the sound can be amplified.
On its own the transmitter makes no sound you can hear. Rent it with the receiver, a mic capsule, and a mixer or speaker and you have a complete hands-free voice setup for a presenter, performer, or celebrant.
