Fire Godox flashes off your Sony camera, wirelessly
A 2.4GHz wireless flash trigger built for Sony cameras.
Slide it onto the Sony hot shoe and it fires and controls your Godox X-system flashes and strobes off-camera, with TTL, high-speed sync and remote power all from one transmitter.
This is the Godox X2T-S, the X2 wireless flash trigger configured for Sony cameras.
It is a small transmitter that mounts on the Sony Multi Interface hot shoe and talks to Godox X-system flashes and strobes over a 2.4GHz radio link, so your lights can sit anywhere off the camera instead of bolted to the top of it.
From the trigger you control TTL autoflash for automatic exposure, manual power, high-speed sync up to 1/8000s, flash exposure compensation, multi-flash and modelling lamps, using a clear LCD, dedicated group buttons and a control wheel.
It runs 5 groups, 32 channels and 99 wireless IDs, so you can drive several lights independently and stay clear of other Godox rigs firing nearby at a busy venue. The radio reaches about 100 metres line-of-sight.
There is a USB Type-C port for firmware updates, a 3.5mm sync socket for non-TTL strobes or remote camera triggering, and Bluetooth pairing with the free GodoxPhoto app on iOS and Android so you can adjust settings from a phone or tablet.
A visible-light AF assist beam helps a Sony body lock focus in a dark hall, and the locking foot grips the shoe firmly. It talks to the wider Godox ecosystem, including AD200, AD300, AD400, AD600 and V-series units.
It is powered by two AA batteries, so there is no charger to carry.
