A Fujitsu FCT344-CE1 charger that tops up rechargeable Ni-MH AA and AAA cells for your shoot or event.
Rent it, keep a tray of cells cycling in the flight case, and never lose a wireless mic or flash to a dead battery mid-show.
This is the Fujitsu FCT344-CE1, a compact AA/AAA battery charger for rechargeable Ni-MH cells, made in Japan. It charges up to four cells at once, and each of the four bays runs its own microprocessor-controlled cycle.
That means you can combine AA and AAA cells, or fully drained and part-used cells, in the same session without dragging the whole tray down to the lowest cell.
It runs on a universal 100-240V 50/60Hz AC mains input at 8W, so it works on local Sri Lankan power without a step-down transformer.
When only one or two cells are inserted, it runs a fast mode at roughly 1100mA per AA bay to speed up turnaround between sets. With three or four cells it settles into a standard mode near 550mA per bay.
A full safety stack looks after the cells while they charge: smart charge cut-off, an overall timer cut-off, thermal monitoring, reverse-polarity protection, and alkaline-battery detection so a non-rechargeable cell inserted by mistake is refused rather than energised.
This is a charger only, so rechargeable batteries are supplied only if stated on your order.
