A dual-slot charger for the Sony L-series NP-F battery family, with an LCD readout and two independent bays.
Rent it to keep your on-camera monitors, LED lights, wireless gear and camcorders powered through a long shoot day.
This is a dual-bay battery charger built for the Sony L-series NP-F battery family, covering NP-F550, NP-F570, NP-F750, NP-F770, NP-F950, NP-F960 and NP-F970 cells.
It charges two batteries at the same time on separate channels, so a fresh pack and a nearly flat one can go in together and neither one waits for the other.
A built-in LCD screen reports the live charging voltage, current and percentage for each slot, so you can see at a glance whether a battery is healthy and taking a full charge.
It delivers a regulated 8.4V charge profile that matches the 7.2V and 7.4V L-series chemistry.
Power comes in over USB, so the charger accepts a 5V USB-A or USB-C source.
That means you can run it from a wall PD adapter, a laptop charger, a USB hub or a portable power bank, which makes it just as useful backstage as it is on a location shoot with no mains nearby.
Smart protection circuitry guards each bay against overcharge, over-discharge, short-circuit and overheating, so it is safe to leave a rotation of batteries topping up between takes.
It is a charger only, not a battery and not a power bank, so it recharges your NP-F cells but does not store power or drive other gear directly.
Rent it whenever your camera setup relies on the NP-F mount and you need spare batteries ready without interruption.
