A genuine Sony NP-FZ100 rechargeable battery to keep a Sony Alpha mirrorless body running through long shoots. It is health-checked before every rental, so you get a dependable spare when it matters.
This is a Sony NP-FZ100 Z-Series rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the standard power source for modern Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras.
It carries a 7.2 V nominal rating with a 2,280 mAh charge capacity, delivering 16.4 Wh of energy in a compact housing that measures 38.7 x 22.7 x 51.7 mm and weighs about 83 g.
That is roughly twice the capacity of the older W-Series NP-FW50 cell it replaces, which is why a single pack holds up so well through demanding stills and video work.
It fits most current Sony Alpha bodies, including the a7 III, a7 IV, a7R III, a7R IV, a7S III, a9, a1, a7C, ZV-E1, FX3, FX30, a6600 and a6700, and it seats in Sony VG-C series vertical grips such as the VG-C4EM, which holds two packs at once.
The battery supports Sony InfoLITHIUM, so a compatible body reads the remaining charge as a percentage as well as the standard icon.
It charges on the Sony BC-QZ1 external charger, on third-party dual and quad-bay chargers, or in-body over USB.
This rental is the battery on its own, so it is the ideal spare or replacement to carry alongside the pack that came with your camera.
