Robinson: The Journey is a first-person virtual reality adventure game for the PlayStation 4, developed by Crytek.
You play as a young survivor stranded on a mysterious, dinosaur-inhabited alien planet, and you explore it on foot at your own pace, solving light puzzles and interacting with the wildlife around you.
It is a single-player story experience with a calm, exploration-led feel rather than fast combat, which makes it easy for newcomers to pick up.
This is a PSVR title, which means it is designed to be played in virtual reality. To run it you need a PlayStation 4 console, a PlayStation VR headset and a PlayStation Camera, along with a DualShock 4 controller.
None of that hardware is included in this rental, so you rent or supply the console, headset and camera separately. What we hand over is the physical game disc and its case, tested and cleaned before dispatch.
The disc must stay inserted to launch and play, and your progress saves to the PS4 system storage.
