The Big Dipper LM-30A mini spider light throws eight sweeping RGBW beams across the room and moves in time with the beat. A compact, easy party and disco light you can rent by the day.
This is the Big Dipper LM-30A, a compact LED mini spider effect light built to fill a room with moving colour. It uses eight 3W RGBW LEDs, about 45W in total, arranged so their beams fan out like a spider's legs and sweep across a dance floor, wall or stage. Because the LEDs are RGBW, they mix red, green, blue and white to make a wide palette of colours plus clean white, and the beams chase, pulse and change colour for a lively party look. It is a small, light fixture that a single person can set up in minutes, which makes it ideal for home parties, DJs and small venues that do not want a big rig.
You can run it four ways. In auto mode it plays built-in shows on its own. In sound-active mode a built-in microphone makes the beams pulse and move in time with your music, so it dances to the beat without anyone touching it. DMX512 mode lets a lighting controller program exact scenes across its 7 or 15 channels, and master/slave mode links several units so they move together for a bigger effect. It runs on a normal mains socket and comes with a bracket to hang it on a bar or truss or to stand it on the floor. It is a coloured party and stage effect light, not a plain white light for video or photography.
A DMX controller, lighting stand or truss are not included by default. Add a controller, stand or more party lights from our range to complete your setup.
