A 1-metre 6.35mm (1/4 inch) TRS-to-TRS cable that carries a balanced, line-level audio signal between pro audio gear. TRS on both ends means strong noise rejection, so the sound stays clean on the day.
This is a 1-metre balanced audio patch cable with a 6.35mm (1/4 inch) TRS male plug on each end. TRS stands for tip-ring-sleeve, the three-conductor jack that carries a balanced signal.
A balanced connection sends the audio down two conductors and cancels out hum and interference along the run, which keeps the signal clean and quiet even in a busy stage, studio or event setup.
Because the plug is a full-size 6.35mm jack, it mates with the standard 1/4 inch TRS sockets you find on mixers, audio interfaces, powered speakers and similar line-level gear.
It is a short 1-metre length, which suits gear sitting close together, such as a mixer feeding an interface on the same desk or a powered speaker on a nearby stand.
It carries a single channel of line-level audio, needs no power, and works in either direction as long as both ends plug into TRS sockets.
If one end goes into a TS-only socket the link still passes audio, but it runs unbalanced and loses the noise rejection.
It carries audio only, so it does not handle video, data or instrument-level and speaker-level signals. Every cable is tested end to end before dispatch, so you get a working lead instead of buying one you use once.
