A small UGREEN adapter that turns a Micro-HDMI (Type-D) port into a standard HDMI (Type-A) socket.
Plug it into an action camera, some tablets or a Raspberry Pi, then run a normal HDMI cable to a monitor, recorder, projector or TV.
This is a short, passive UGREEN adapter, not a cable. One end is a Micro-HDMI (Type-D) male plug that goes into your device; the other is a full-size HDMI (Type-A) female socket that a standard HDMI cable plugs into.
It needs no power and no drivers, so there is nothing to charge or install.
It works as a simple pass-through: it carries whatever video and audio the source sends, up to 4K, straight to the HDMI side without changing or upscaling it.
The final resolution is set by your device, so an older camera or board that outputs 1080p still sends 1080p through it.
Common sources are action cameras, small camcorders, some tablets and single-board computers like the Raspberry Pi, any of which can then reach a full-size HDMI display.
Because the adapter itself is only about 0.22 metres, all of the distance to the screen comes from the HDMI cable you attach, which is not included.
The Micro-HDMI plug is small and delicate, so support the adapter rather than letting a heavy cable hang from the port.
Choose it when your device has a Micro-HDMI output but your cable, recorder or display uses the standard full-size HDMI connector.
