An active UGREEN converter that turns a VGA output into an HDMI signal, so an old laptop, desktop or device with a VGA port can plug into a modern HDMI TV, projector or monitor at Full HD 1080p.
A UGREEN active VGA to HDMI converter that bridges analog VGA to digital HDMI.
It takes an analog VGA video signal from your source device on a VGA male connector and rebuilds it as a digital HDMI signal on an HDMI female port at up to Full HD 1920x1080 at 60Hz.
Because it actively processes the signal rather than just rewiring pins, it needs USB power to run, so you plug the included USB lead into a laptop port, a charger or a power bank; without power it passes no signal.
It is one-directional, VGA in to HDMI out only. It will not turn an HDMI source into VGA, so the device with the VGA port must be the source and the HDMI screen is the display.
It outputs up to 1080p and does not upscale beyond Full HD.
VGA carries video but no sound, so a 3.5mm audio input lets you inject audio from your source device, which the converter embeds into the HDMI output so the TV or projector plays picture and sound together.
It is plug and play with no drivers.
