An active VCOM HDMI 1.4 splitter that takes one HDMI input and mirrors it to eight HDMI outputs at once, up to Full HD 1080p. Ideal for exhibitions, showrooms and video walls where every screen shows the same content.
A powered 1-in, 8-out HDMI splitter (VCOM). It has one HDMI female input and eight HDMI female outputs, and it duplicates a single source such as a laptop, media player or camera onto all eight outputs simultaneously.
It is built to the HDMI 1.4 standard with 10.2 Gbps bandwidth, supporting Full HD 1080p, 1080i, 720p and 3D, and it passes surround audio through to each display.
Because it is active, it runs on the included DC 12V / 2A power adapter and needs a mains outlet nearby. This is a splitter, not a switch: it copies one source, it does not choose between several.
For very large installs, this 8-way unit covers more screens from a single feed than a 2-way or 4-way splitter.
Plan your HDMI cabling and a power point at the splitter location before setup; runs beyond about 15 metres to a distant screen may need an active extender or optical HDMI cable on that output.
