A small passive converter that sends video from a Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt laptop to a legacy VGA projector or monitor in Full HD 1080p.

The link runs one way only, from the Mini-DisplayPort source out to the VGA display, so it sends a laptop's screen to a projector but cannot pull a VGA source back into a laptop.
It carries video only, because the VGA standard has no audio channel, so run a separate 3.5mm audio lead from your laptop to the speakers or mixer when you need sound.
Choose it when you have a modern Mini-DP or Thunderbolt laptop and the projector or monitor on the day only offers a VGA socket.
