A 5-metre HDMI 1.4 cable that carries Full HD 1080p video and audio from a laptop, PC or console to a projector, TV or monitor on a single lead.
The extra reach spans a podium to a room projector, and it is tested before every rental, so it just works on the day.
This is a 5-metre HDMI cable built to the HDMI 1.4 standard, with full-size HDMI Type-A male plugs on both ends.
It works by carrying an uncompressed Full HD 1080p picture and its audio together down one shielded copper lead, so there is no separate sound cable to run.
The connectors are gold-plated and the cable is bidirectional, with up to 10.2 Gbps of bandwidth, which keeps the signal clean across the full length.
At 5 metres it suits a mid-length room run: a podium or lectern laptop to a ceiling or room projector, a media rack to a wall-mounted TV, or a source to a screen across a small hall, without needing an active booster.
It connects any HDMI source, such as a laptop, PC, gaming console, camera or media player, to any HDMI display, such as a projector, TV, LED screen or monitor.
Being a passive cable, it draws no power and needs nothing plugged in beyond the two devices. Choose it when you need Full HD reach beyond a short desk cable but the run still fits inside one room or a small hall.
