A 10-metre audio cable with a 3.5mm stereo (TRS) plug on one end and a 6.35mm (1/4 inch) mono (TS) plug on the other, to feed a phone, laptop or media player into a mixer channel, amp or powered speaker.

The cable is shielded to help reject electrical interference across the full 10-metre run, and it needs no power at all because it simply carries the audio signal from the source to the destination.
There is one honest point to understand. The source end is stereo (TRS, two channels), but the 6.35mm end is mono (TS, one channel).
Because of that, the left and right channels are summed into a single mono signal at the 1/4 inch jack.
No channel is dropped, so both halves of the audio still reach the input, but the result is mono and not true stereo.
That is exactly what you want when the destination has a single 1/4 inch mono input, such as one mixer channel or a powered speaker input, and it is the reason to pick this cable over a stereo-to-stereo lead.
If you need to keep left and right separate at the destination, this is not the right cable.
This lead is audio only, so it carries no video or digital signal, and at 10 metres it gives you plenty of slack to route across a room, a hall or a stage.
