This is a Topp Pro Forza 12A, a 2-way active (powered) loudspeaker built around a 12-inch woofer and a 1-inch compression driver on a 90 by 45 degree horn.
Because the amplifier is inside the cabinet, there is nothing else to rig: connect a source and switch it on.
The onboard bi-amp delivers 415W RMS continuous and 1660W peak, pushing up to 126dB max SPL across a 55Hz to 20kHz range, which is enough to fill a hall or an open front lawn with music and voice.
Connections are simple and event-ready. Input 1 takes a microphone on XLR or 6.3mm jack, and Input 2 takes a line source such as a laptop, mixer or DJ controller on XLR, jack or a 3.5mm aux lead.
A built-in USB and SD card player runs MP3 files straight off a stick, so you can play background music with no laptop at all.
The trapezoidal cabinet has a 35mm pole socket for a tripod stand and can also lie on its side as a stage floor monitor.
A single unit suits a room of 80 to 150 people, and a pair on stands covers 150 to 300 comfortably, which makes it a steady all-rounder for Sri Lankan weddings, corporate functions, DJ nights and religious ceremonies.
