A height-adjustable boom tripod microphone stand for hire in Sri Lanka. It positions a vocal, speech or instrument mic over a performer, podium or amp, then locks in place through the whole event.
The Microphone Boom Stand is a height-adjustable floor stand that positions a microphone exactly where a vocalist, speaker or instrument needs it.
It is built around a folding steel tripod base with a powder-coated finish, a clutch-grip telescoping column that sets the mic anywhere from roughly 90 cm up to about 160 cm, and a locking boom arm that extends around 76 cm of horizontal reach.
A universal 5/8 inch thread, supplied with a 3/8 inch adapter, sits at the boom tip, so the vast majority of handheld, dynamic and condenser microphone clips from Shure, Sennheiser, AKG, Audio-Technica and JTS screw straight on.
The boom is counter-weighted so it holds position through long speeches without drooping under a typical microphone.
The stand weighs about 2.5 kg and folds down to around 90 cm, so it slots into an event van or storage rack and sets up in seconds.
It handles a load of up to about 3 kg at the boom tip, which covers almost any handheld or condenser mic.
Fold the boom arm away and the stand converts to a straight upright for seated presenters, podcasters or lectern use.
Every unit is checked for the clutch lock, boom knob, thread and base stability before it goes out, so you get a stand that works on the day rather than buying one you will use once.
The microphone, clip and cables are not included unless listed on the pack list.
