A small table microphone stand that puts a light mic on a boardroom table, podcast desk or podium.
It stands roughly 18 to 30 cm on a weighted steel base, so the mic sits close to a seated speaker without a floor stand in the way.
This is a short desktop microphone stand, not a floor or boom stand.
It has three parts: a round, weighted steel base that keeps it planted on a table, a short upright, and a standard 5/8 inch threaded mount on top for the mic clip.
The upright is height-adjustable, so you loosen a twist-lock collar, slide the mic to the height you want and lock it again, all within roughly 18 to 30 cm and without any tools.
It has no electronics, no cables and no power; it is a simple mechanical stand that sits on any flat, stable surface.
It is built for a light handheld or desktop microphone up to about 1.5 kg, so a large studio condenser with a heavy shock mount or a heavy shotgun mic is too much for it.
The 5/8 inch thread fits most mic clips out of the box, and a 5/8 to 3/8 inch adapter can be added on request for clips that need the smaller thread.
It is the right choice when a speaker is seated and you want the mic low and close on the table rather than up at standing height.
