The Heavy-Duty Speaker Tripod Stand is a reinforced, height-adjustable steel tripod that raises one full-size PA, DJ or live-sound speaker to ear level so the sound projects cleanly across the room.
It is built around a thick steel tube column and a wide, welded three-leg base, and it takes a standard 35mm (1.5 inch) top pole that fits the pole-mount socket found on virtually all powered and passive speaker cabinets.
Many cabinets also accept a 1 3/8 inch adapter on the same pole.
The height is set by a pin-lock system with multiple positions and extends up to about 1.8 metres, which lifts most cabinets clear of seated and standing audiences.

Compared with the standard speaker tripod stand, it uses a thicker column and a wider, sturdier leg spread, so it carries a higher load and holds larger, heavier cabinets more securely at bigger events.
Rubber-tipped feet grip on tile, timber, carpet and firm ground, and the whole tripod folds flat for easy transport in a vehicle.
There is no power or cabling built into the stand; it is a passive mechanical support, so it works with any pole-mount speaker whether powered or passive, wired or wireless.
Every stand is checked for a smooth pin-lock, a firm pole and a stable base before it goes out.
