Rent the Weifeng WF-717, an aluminium camera and video tripod that reaches about 1.8m, holds a camera load of up to 8 kg, and carries a fluid pan/tilt head for smooth video moves.
Tested before every rental, it is ready to shoot on the day.
The Weifeng WF-717 is a professional aluminium tripod built for both photo and video work.
Its three-section legs extend from a low working height of about 83 cm up to roughly 1.8m (189 cm), then fold down to about 86 cm so it packs into a carrying bag for travel between studio and location.
The chassis is topped with a fluid-effect pan and tilt head, which uses a damping action to keep pans and tilts smooth for video rather than jerky.
A quick-release plate lets you lift the camera off the head between takes and clip it back on in seconds.
A standard 1/4 inch threaded mount fits the base of most DSLR, mirrorless and camcorder bodies, so the tripod pairs with cameras from the popular brands as well as compact camcorders.
The whole tripod weighs about 4.4 kg, which keeps it sturdy on the ground while still being manageable to carry to a shoot.
With a rated camera load of up to 8 kg, it comfortably supports typical camera and lens combinations for interviews, events and studio sessions.
This is a practical, dependable support for anyone who needs a tall, stable base for a camera without buying one for a single project.
