The Sennheiser ew 100 G3 is a professional UHF wireless lavalier set that clips a small microphone onto your presenter and sends their voice back to a true-diversity receiver.
It gives interviews, speeches and video shoots clear spoken audio without a cable trailing across the floor.
The Sennheiser ew 100 G3 is a wireless lavalier (clip-on) microphone system from the well known evolution wireless G3 range.
The set has three parts that work together: a clip-on lavalier microphone that pins to a shirt or lapel, an SK 100 G3 bodypack transmitter that the presenter wears on a belt or in a pocket, and a receiver that plugs into your camera, recorder, mixer or PA.
The transmitter sends the voice over UHF radio to the receiver, so your talent can move freely while the sound stays clean and steady.
Inside, the system uses true-diversity reception with two antennas, which quietly switches to the stronger signal to reduce dropouts as the presenter walks around.
It offers up to 42 MHz of switching bandwidth across 1680 tunable frequencies, so you can find a clear channel even in a busy venue, and infrared sync pairs the transmitter and receiver in seconds.
Range reaches up to about 100 metres in good line-of-sight conditions, and both the transmitter and receiver run on standard AA batteries, so the set works anywhere without mains power.
The exact frequency band is region-specific and is confirmed on our unit, so please ask us to confirm it when you are running several wireless systems together.
