The Acer X118H is an entry-level DLP projector that puts out a bright 3600 lumens at native SVGA 800x600.
It is an easy, plug-and-play pick for presentations, classes and meetings where you need clear slides and text without paying for a high-resolution unit.
The Acer X118H is a single-chip DLP data projector built for everyday office, classroom and event use.
It has a native SVGA 800x600 resolution in a 4:3 shape and puts out 3600 ANSI lumens of brightness with a 20,000:1 contrast ratio, so slides, bullet text and charts stay clear and readable even when a room is not fully darkened.
The lens uses a 1.94 to 2.16:1 throw ratio, which means you set it a comfortable distance behind the audience and it fills a screen from a small training room up to a wide hall.
At about 2.7 kg it is light enough to move between rooms and quick to set up.
Connectivity covers the inputs most local venues actually use.
There is an HDMI port for newer laptops and media players, a VGA (D-sub 15-pin) port for older desktops, plus USB, composite video (RCA) and a PC audio input.
A built-in 3W mono speaker handles basic voice and simple audio without extra gear, and the unit runs on standard 230V mains power.
It is an affordable, bright, plug-and-play projector, which makes it a sensible choice when you want dependable projection for presentations and slideshows rather than a costly high-resolution cinema unit.
