The Epson EB-X04 is a portable 3LCD multimedia projector that puts a bright 2,800-lumen XGA picture on any screen or wall, ready for lessons, presentations and slideshow nights.

The Epson EB-X04 is a portable business and education projector built around Epson's 3LCD engine.

It projects a native XGA 1024x768 image in a 4:3 shape, with 2,800 lumens of equal white and colour brightness and a 15,000:1 contrast ratio, so slides, worksheets and standard video stay clear and readable.

A 200W UHE lamp lights the image, and a 1.0-1.2x manual zoom lets the picture scale from a tight 30-inch image up to a wall-filling 300 inches, depending on how far it sits from the screen.

It weighs roughly 2.4 kg and runs from a standard 230V AC mains outlet.

Connectivity covers the sources most rooms use.

HDMI takes laptops, streaming sticks and modern AV gear, a 15-pin VGA input handles older PCs, and there is composite RCA video plus USB Type-A for thumb-drive playback and USB Type-B for USB Display.

Wired LAN and built-in Wi-Fi let phones, tablets and laptops cast over Epson's iProjection app, so a presenter can share slides without a cable. A 1W mono speaker is built in for quiet rooms.

Together these make it a flexible, easy-to-carry unit for schools, tuition classes, small boardrooms and home use across Colombo and the rest of Sri Lanka.
