The Epson EB-X49 is a portable 3LCD projector with a native XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 in a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Its three-chip LCD engine produces 3600 lumens of white light and 3600 lumens of colour light, so text, charts and photos stay bright and true to colour rather than washed out.

A 16000:1 contrast ratio and a 210W UHE lamp keep the image readable in a normally lit room, and it can fill a screen anywhere from 30 to 300 inches.

A 1.2x manual zoom together with a 1.48 to 1.77:1 throw ratio gives you room to place it on a table or a stand and still frame the picture cleanly.

The white 2.7 kg body is light enough for one person to carry between rooms and set up in a few minutes.

Connections cover one HDMI input, two VGA inputs, USB and a wired LAN port, so almost any laptop, desktop or media player connects without a fuss. A built-in 5W speaker handles speech and small rooms without extra gear.
