A head-worn condenser microphone that keeps both your hands free.
It sits on a slim boom near the corner of your mouth and terminates in a 3-Pin connector that plugs into a wireless bodypack transmitter, so you can move freely around a stage, studio or classroom.
This is a head-worn (headset) condenser microphone terminated with a 3-Pin locking connector.
The lightweight earhook loops over one ear and a metal-reinforced boom arm holds the small capsule a few centimetres from the corner of your mouth, capturing your voice at an even level even as you turn your head or move about.
The capsule is a cardioid (unidirectional) condenser, which gives clear, articulate voice pickup and rejects room noise and audience sound coming from behind you.
A foam windscreen is supplied to tame breath and plosive pops. The whole point of the design is hands-free operation, so nothing is held and nothing gets in the way of gestures, demonstrations or playing an instrument.
Because it ends in a 3-Pin connector, this is not a standalone wireless mic and it does not transmit on its own.
To go wireless it plugs into a compatible 3-Pin wireless bodypack transmitter that you clip to a belt, and that pack sends the signal to a matching wireless receiver connected to your mixer or speaker.
In short, you need both a compatible bodypack transmitter and a wireless receiver for it to work, and we can rent those alongside it and set the system up matched and ready.
Confirm the 3-Pin plug suits your pack before the event, as pinouts vary between brands.
