Hiking Backpack 50L - Camping Gears for rent
A 50L hiking backpack carries gear for 2 to 4 night treks with a 75 x 33 x 25 cm frame and a 7.5 to 10 kg load capacity.
It includes an adjustable harness, ventilated back panel, load-bearing hip belt, hydration sleeve, and multiple pockets and straps for organisation.
In Sri Lanka, hikers use this size for Knuckles range traverses, Adam's Peak overnight climbs, Sinharaja birding trips, and Ella-Nuwara Eliya circuits.
It also suits hostel backpackers, school outdoor programmes, cycle tours, and family camping weekends, and fits as handheld luggage on buses and internal flights.
Why Choose This Product

- 50L Size / Capacity: Sized for the typical professional or event use case.
- Key Specifications: 50L internal volume, hydration-bladder compatible, adjustable torso harness, padded hip belt, multiple compression straps and external attachment loops
- Rain Cover: Most 50L hiking packs include a built-in rain cover stowed in a bottom or top pocket to protect contents during sudden downpours, useful in Sri Lanka's wet zones.
- Compression System: Multiple side and front compression straps cinch down the load when the pack is partially full, keeping weight close to the back and improving balance on uneven trails.
- External Attachment Points: Daisy chains, ice axe loops and trekking pole holders allow bulky items such as foam mats, tents and walking poles to be carried outside the main compartment.
