A waterproof dive housing that seals a GoPro HERO camera to a depth of 60m for diving, snorkelling and rough watersports. This is a case only, so bring or rent your own HERO camera.
This is a hard protective dive housing for GoPro HERO action cameras. It is a case, not a camera.
The camera slides inside a clear polycarbonate shell with a flat optical glass lens at the front, then a backdoor latches shut over a rubber gasket to keep water out.
Sealed properly, the housing is rated waterproof to 60m (196ft).
That is a big jump over a bare HERO body, which is only splashproof to about 10m (33ft), so the case is what lets you take the camera on a real dive or a deep snorkel rather than just the shallows.
It fits the GoPro HERO9, HERO10, HERO11, HERO12 and HERO13 Black bodies, which share the same shape.
The kit comes with two backdoors: a sealed waterproof door for underwater and wet use, and a skeleton (vented) door that lets more sound reach the microphone when you are on land.
A mounting buckle and thumb screw let you clip it onto any standard GoPro mount, chest strap, pole or helmet mount.
The polycarbonate body also shields the camera from sand, dust, knocks and spray, which is useful on the beach, on a boat or in the monsoon even when you are not going underwater.
Because it is a rental housing, it is checked and the seal cleaned before every dispatch.
