Can this flashlight identify jade and gemstones in low light during CEB power cuts?

Yes. The rotary infinite brightness control lets you dial output precisely for examining jade beads, jadeite pendants and small stones even during evening power cuts. The 500 lumen CREE XP-L HI V3 LED and focused 380cd intensity beam reveal internal structure and color accurately.

Is it safe to use this outdoors during monsoon season?

The GEM8 is IPX8 waterproof and built from aero-grade aluminum alloy with HAIII hard-anodized finish, so rain and humidity will not damage it. Dry the unit after use and return it in the provided case to avoid moisture retention in the 9mm head.

How do I adjust brightness for different gemstone types?

Rotate the infinite brightness ring on the head to increase or decrease output smoothly. Lower settings work better for translucent stones like jadeite to avoid washout, while higher output helps with opaque materials. The 139mm body gives precise one-handed control.
