Sennheiser 9000 Series Wireless Bodypack Transmitter

Belt-worn wireless transmitter for a headset or lavalier mic

A Sennheiser 9000 series wireless bodypack transmitter.

A headset or lavalier microphone plugs into it, and it sends that audio wirelessly to the matching 9000 series receiver, so a presenter or performer can move hands-free.

This is a Sennheiser 9000 series wireless bodypack transmitter, part of Sennheiser's flagship Digital 9000 wireless family. It is a small unit worn on the belt or waistband.

It is not a standalone microphone: instead, a headset or lavalier (clip-on) microphone plugs into the transmitter, and the transmitter carries that audio over the UHF radio band to a matching Sennheiser 9000 series receiver.

The receiver then feeds the sound into your mixer, amplifier, or PA system.

Our unit tunes in the UHF 470 to 558 MHz range, with the exact window depending on the regional variant, and runs on a BA 60 rechargeable battery pack or standard AA cells.

It weighs around 350 grams, so it sits comfortably on the body through a long event.

Because it is a transmitter only, it needs two other things to make a complete working system: the matching Sennheiser 9000 series receiver, and a headset or lavalier microphone to plug into it.

Those are not included with the transmitter by default, so if you do not already have them, rent them alongside this unit and tell us your setup so we can confirm the full kit.

This is the choice for high-end, hands-free wireless audio where clean, low-noise sound and dependable range matter more than a simple plug-and-play mic.

Presenters, stage performers, worship leaders, and conference speakers all use a bodypack transmitter like this so they can walk, gesture, and perform without holding a handheld microphone.
