Do I need electricity or a battery to keep this cooler box cold?

No. This is a passive cooler box with PU foam insulation - no power source needed. It keeps contents chilled using ice or ice packs you supply. Performance depends on ambient temperature, how often the lid is opened, and the amount of ice used.

Can this fit a full case of beer plus ice for a beach party?

At 72 litres it holds roughly 50-60 cans with ice, or mixed drinks and food for a medium group. The hard polyethylene shell handles sand and rough transport better than soft coolers. Rinse the food-grade liner after use before return.

Is there a way to drain melted ice water without tipping the whole box?

Yes, it has a drain plug at the base for releasing melt water. Position the cooler where runoff will not cause slipping hazards or pool inside a vehicle. Keep the plug sealed during transport to prevent leaks.

How long will ice last inside during a CEB power cut or outdoor event?

Ice retention varies with outside temperature, lid opening frequency, and ice-to-contents ratio - we do not guarantee specific hours. In Sri Lankan heat, pre-chill items and use block ice rather than cubes for longer performance. Pack the cooler full to minimize air gaps.
