This is the stand and frame for a studio or event backdrop, rented as the support system only.
It has two telescopic stands built from alloy steel or aluminium alloy tubing, rubber-tipped feet, and a set of sectional crossbars that clip together to span the top.
The stands rise with press-to-lock height sections up to roughly 8 ft (2.4 m), while twist locks on the crossbar let you dial in any width from about 4 ft up to 10 ft (3 m).
Between them the frame gives a usable backdrop area of around 10 ft by 8 ft, which is enough for full-body portraits, group shots and event backdrop panels.
You supply or rent the backdrop itself and the frame holds it.
The crossbar takes cloth, muslin, vinyl, seamless paper, green screen, printed banners, flower walls, balloon garlands, tulle and fairy lights, secured along the bar with spring clamps so the material hangs flat without sagging.
Everything is tool-free: the poles slot together, the locks tighten by hand, and the whole rig breaks down into short sections that pack into the included slim carry bag for moving between venues.
Because dimensions are typical for this style of kit rather than measured on our exact unit, the sizes above are estimated and best confirmed for a tight-tolerance shoot.
