Is the tent waterproof enough for Sri Lankan monsoon rain?

The double-layer design with PU-coated flysheet handles heavy rain typical of monsoon season. The 3000mm water resistance rating works for most camping conditions here, though we still recommend choosing elevated ground.

Do I need to bring my own poles, or are aluminum and fiberglass poles both included?

The rental unit comes with poles - either aluminum or fiberglass depending on current stock. We check pole integrity before each handover, but inspect them with our team at pickup.

Can 6 adults actually sleep comfortably, or is it tighter with gear?

The 270x250cm footprint fits 6 sleeping bags, but most groups of 6 adults find it snug with backpacks inside. For a more comfortable setup, 4 people plus equipment works better.

Does the mesh inner layer keep mosquitoes out during humid nights?

The full mesh inner tent blocks mosquitoes while allowing airflow - critical for humid Sri Lankan nights without power for fans. Just keep the flysheet door zipped to maintain the bug barrier.

Campers take these to Yala, Wilpattu, Horton Plains, and Knuckles, or beach sites at Kalpitiya and Tangalle.

School groups, scout troops, and small corporate teams also use them for overnight outings in monsoon season or cool hill country nights.
