A powered VCOM HDMI splitter that takes one HDMI source and mirrors the same picture and sound onto two HDMI displays at the same time, in Full HD 1080p. Plug in, power up, and both screens show the same thing.
This is an active HDMI splitter with one HDMI input and two HDMI outputs.
It takes a single source, such as a laptop, PC, console or media player, and duplicates that signal to two HDMI displays so both show an identical picture.
Because it is an active device, it runs from an included power adapter rather than drawing power from the HDMI port. It is an HDMI 1.4 class splitter suited to Full HD 1080p, and it carries 4K only at 30Hz.
It mirrors the signal, so it does not show different content on each screen, it does not extend your desktop, and it does not switch between inputs.
It reads the connected displays and works best when both screens support a compatible resolution, settling on the lower common resolution when they differ.
HDMI carries video and audio together, so both displays receive the same picture and sound.
Choose a splitter when you want the same image on two screens at once, for example a presenter's laptop shown on a stage screen and a confidence monitor.
If instead you want to select between several sources on one screen, an HDMI switch is the right choice.
