A BMAX BH-18650-04 multi-bay charger you can hire to top up 18650 lithium-ion cells and other cylindrical Li-ion sizes.

Up to four bays charge at once on independent channels, each with a red or green status LED, all fed from a simple USB 5V input.

The BMAX BH-18650-04 is a multi-bay charger for 18650 lithium-ion rechargeable cells and other cylindrical Li-ion sizes.

It has up to four bays, so it charges up to four cells at once, with each bay running on its own independent channel.

That means a nearly flat cell and a half-used one can sit side by side and charge on their own, without one bay holding up the rest.

Every bay has a red or green status LED, so you can see at a glance which cells are still charging and which are full and ready to swap back into your gear.

It is powered by a simple USB 5V input, so it runs from a mains USB adapter, a power bank, a laptop or a vehicle USB port, and does not tie up a mains outlet.

Each bay charges at about 4.2V and 1000mA, and the spring-loaded contacts hold cells firmly while they charge.

The same cradle fits 18650 cells plus smaller Li-ion sizes such as 10440, 14500, 16340, 14650, 16650, 18350 and 18500, so one charger covers everything from small torch cells to full-size 18650 packs.

This is a charger only, so the cells themselves are not included unless stated. On a shoot or event, crews use it to keep spare cells topped up for torches, LED lights and camera grips so the kit never runs flat.
