An HP EliteBook 850 G5 business laptop with an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, 16GB of RAM, a fast SSD and a 15.6-inch Full HD screen running Windows.
This is the i7 model, chosen when you need extra speed for heavy office work, multitasking, development and test, and editing.
The HP EliteBook 850 G5 (Core i7, 16GB) is a 15.6-inch business-class laptop from HP's professional EliteBook 800 line, offered here for rent in Sri Lanka.
It runs an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor (four cores and eight threads), paired with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a solid state drive, so it boots Windows fast and stays responsive when you push it.
The 15.6-inch Full HD anti-glare display gives you sharp 1920 by 1080 detail with room for side-by-side windows, spreadsheets and documents, and the slim aluminium chassis keeps it light enough to carry between meetings, sites and events.
This is the faster i7 version of the 850 G5, and it is the one to pick when the i5 model would feel tight.
The quad-core i7 has more processing headroom for a heavier office and workstation load, running many applications and browser tabs at once, spinning up development and test environments, and handling photo and document editing without slowing down.
It carries a wide port selection, including HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-A, a USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3 and RJ-45 Ethernet, so it connects to projectors, external monitors and office docks without extra dongles.
A backlit keyboard makes it easy to work in low light at evening events or on the road.
Every unit is tested and cleaned before it goes out, so you get a laptop that just works on the day, without the cost of buying one you only need for a short project.
