The Epson EB-X9 is a portable 3LCD projector that puts crisp XGA slides, documents and video on screen for classrooms, meetings and small halls.
It is tested and cleaned before every rental, so it is ready to work on the day.
The Epson EB-X9 is a lightweight 3LCD business and education projector with a native XGA resolution of 1024x768 in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
It delivers 2500 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, driven by a 200W E-TORL lamp that is rated for up to 5000 hours of use.
At around 2.3 kg it is easy to carry from room to room and quick to set up on a table or a small stand.
With a standard throw ratio of about 1.48 to 1.77:1 it fills a screen from roughly 30 to 300 inches, which covers everything from a small meeting room to a community hall.
Connectivity on this legacy model is analog: it has one VGA (D-Sub 15-pin) computer input plus composite and S-Video, along with USB Type-B and audio in and out.
There is no HDMI input, so laptops connect over VGA or through an HDMI-to-VGA adapter that we also rent. A built-in mono speaker handles voice-level sound for a quiet room.
It is a dependable, budget-friendly choice when you need reliable slides and clear text rather than the latest widescreen HD features.
