A genuine Sony NP-F970 L-series battery for hire in Sri Lanka.
This high-capacity 47Wh pack keeps camcorders, LED video lights and field monitors powered through long shoots, and it is charged and health-checked before every rental so it is ready on the day.
The Sony NP-F970 is the top of Sony's L-series InfoLITHIUM rechargeable battery range, the family that has become the everyday power standard across professional video work.
It is a 7.2V lithium-ion pack rated at 6600mAh, which works out to about 47Wh of stored energy, making it one of the highest-capacity packs you can fit on the NP-F shoe.
Because it is a genuine Sony cell and not a third-party copy, it charges cleanly, runs cool and holds its rated capacity, which matters when you are relying on it to carry a camera or a light through a full session.
What makes the NP-F970 so useful is the mount rather than any single device.
The NP-F shoe is fitted to Sony camcorders, but also to a huge ecosystem of LED video light panels, on-camera field monitors, audio recorders, wireless receivers and dummy-battery couplers from many brands.
Slide the pack onto any of those and it just works. On compatible Sony bodies it uses the InfoLITHIUM protocol to report remaining runtime in minutes rather than a rough bar, so you know exactly when to swap.
Rented as a spare, it lets you keep one pack on the gear and another on charge, so a shoot, wedding or event never stops for a flat battery.
