This is a Fujitsu quick charger for rechargeable AA and AAA Ni-MH (nickel-metal hydride) cells, rented as a complete set with four Fujitsu 2550mAh AA cells (model HR-3UTHCEX).
The charger has four independent channels, so it can top up as many as four cells at the same time, and each channel is watched on its own.
That means you can drop in one part-drained cell next to a fully flat one and neither slows the other down.
Per-cell LED indicators show the charge status of every bay at a glance, so you always know which cells are ready to go.
Safety is built in: smart cut-off ends the charge when a cell is full, while reverse-polarity protection, alkaline-cell detection and high-temperature shutdown guard against loading a battery the wrong way or dropping in a non-rechargeable cell by mistake.
The charger takes a universal 100-240V AC input, so it plugs straight into a Sri Lankan 230V wall socket with a standard adapter and no voltage converter.
The included 2550mAh cells are made in Japan, rated for around 500 charge cycles, and hold roughly 85% of their charge after a year of storage, giving you dependable runtime for current-hungry event and studio accessories.
