Rent the HP EliteBook 840 G4, a 14-inch HP business laptop with a 7th generation Intel Core i5, 16GB of RAM, an SSD and Windows 10 Pro.
It is built for temporary office and workstation setups, events, training labs and short-term replacements, and it arrives tested and ready to work.
The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a 14-inch business notebook from HP's EliteBook 800 series, the kind of machine issued to office staff in large companies.
This unit runs a 7th generation Intel Core i5 (i5-7200U) with 16GB of DDR4 memory, so it handles everyday business work such as multi-tab browsing, large spreadsheets, video calls, document processing and line-of-business applications without slowing down.
A 128GB M.2 SSD boots Windows 10 Pro quickly and keeps file access snappy through the day.
The 14-inch HD anti-glare screen is easy to read under office and conference-room lighting, and the slim aluminium chassis weighs about 1.48 kg and measures just 18.9 mm thick, so it travels comfortably in a normal laptop bag.
Full-size and modern ports, including VGA, DisplayPort, USB Type-A, USB Type-C and RJ-45 Ethernet, connect straight to most projectors, monitors, networks and docking setups without extra dongles, and Wi-Fi 5 with Bluetooth handles wireless work.
Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 covers everyday display duties, though it is not built for gaming or heavy video editing.
Renting one, or a matching batch of them, is a practical way to cover a short-term need without buying hardware you will only use for a few weeks.
Every unit is tested and cleaned before it leaves us, and we can deliver same-day in Colombo with island-wide options.
