A custom-made 5-metre power extension cord with a 4-socket outlet block and a 13A mains plug. It brings four switched power points to a desk, stage, booth or shoot when the wall socket is a few metres away.
This is a custom-made 5-metre power extension cord built around a single UK-style 3-pin 13A mains plug at one end and a 4-socket outlet block at the other.
It gives you four separate power points on the end of a 5-metre run of flexible 3-core mains cable, so one wall socket becomes four usable outlets exactly where your gear sits.
It is rated for 230V UK 3-pin 13A, the standard household and event supply across Sri Lanka, so the plug and the four sockets match the wall points you already have without any adaptor.
Each of the four sockets is individually switched, so you can turn devices on and off one at a time without pulling plugs, and the plug top is fused so the whole cord is protected against overload.
The 5-metre cable is the useful part: it bridges the gap between a fixed wall point and the place you actually want power, whether that is a presenter's laptop and projector at a meeting, a small lighting and audio rig at a function, camera batteries and monitors on a shoot, or tools on a stand at a booth.
It is a simple, dependable 4-way for nearby power at events, AV, sound and lighting, workshops and offices, tested before it goes out so it just works on the day.
Because the four sockets share the cord's total rating, watch the combined wattage and keep the load within the 13A limit; it carries mains power only, not video, audio or data.
