A 5-metre 3.5mm stereo aux cable that carries left and right audio from a phone, laptop or tablet to a powered speaker, mixer or car aux. It is tested before every rental, so it just works on the day.
A 5-metre stereo audio patch lead with a 3.5mm stereo TRS male plug on each end.
Both connectors are 3.5mm (1/8 inch) 3-pole TRS, so the cable carries full left and right stereo audio on a single lead from one device to another.
It is a passive analog cable, which means there are no drivers, no power and no settings to worry about.
You plug one end into the aux output of a source device and the other into the aux input of a speaker, mixer or amplifier, and the audio flows straight through.
Five metres gives enough slack to route audio from a lectern, DJ position or operator table across to a nearby powered speaker, mixer channel, projector audio input or car stereo aux socket without stretching the lead.
The 3.5mm TRS jacks fit any standard aux socket on phones, tablets, laptops, MP3 players, audio interfaces, mixers, car stereos and powered speakers, so it drops into almost any setup that uses a headphone-style aux port.
This is the go-to line-level lead for background music, video sound, walk-in tracks and announcements at meetings and small events.
Signal flow works either way, so either end can be the source or the destination depending on the sockets on your gear. This is the 5-metre version, which suits shorter source-to-speaker runs.
For more reach across a hall or stage, rent the 10-metre 3.5mm aux cable instead.
