The BOYA BY-WM8 Pro-K3 is a UHF wireless handheld microphone system that lets a speaker or singer move freely while a compact receiver feeds the sound into your PA, mixer or camera.
Tested and delivered ready to use, so it just works on the day.
The BOYA BY-WM8 Pro-K3 is a professional UHF wireless handheld microphone system from BOYA, a brand widely used by event crews, presenters and content creators.
The kit pairs the BY-WHM8 Pro handheld transmitter with the RX8 Pro dual-channel receiver, so the microphone talks to the receiver over radio and there is no cable trailing from the person holding it.
The handheld body uses a dynamic cardioid capsule that focuses on the voice in front while pushing back sound from the sides and rear, which keeps the speaker clear and helps control feedback near loudspeakers.
It runs in the UHF band between 568 and 599 MHz across 48 selectable channels, so if another wireless device causes noise you scan for a clean frequency on the LCD in seconds.
The stated line-of-sight range is up to 100 metres, which comfortably covers a hall, banquet room or open stage.
The transmitter and the receiver each take 2x AA batteries and last around 6 hours, and fresh batteries come with every rental.
The RX8 Pro receiver clips onto a camera or sits by your mixer, outputs through a 3.5mm lead or the included 3.5mm-to-XLR cable, and has a headphone jack so you can monitor the sound live.
That combination makes it a reliable pick for weddings, conferences, presentations, sermons and karaoke nights across Sri Lanka.
