It is two small omnidirectional condenser lapel mics that both feed one 4-pole 3.5mm TRRS plug, sharing a single 4-metre cable that gives roughly 2.8 metres of separation between the two speakers.
Because both capsules run into one plug, you clip a mic on each person and record both voices into a single device, with no transmitter, receiver or pairing to manage.
It is a wired mic, so both speakers stay within the cable run of the recording device, and it plugs in through 3.5mm only.
